Leaf Wrap Knit-A-Long

Welcome to this Blue Sky Fibers Knit-A-Long, the second in their Seasonal Knit-A-Long series. Join us at Maker+Stitch as we make the Leaf Wrap KAL along with other friends of BSF from April 4 through May 31. The Leaf Wrap is knit in soft and light Woolstok Light. Made from 100% Fine Highland Wool, this wrap is lightweight and just the right transitional layering piece for spring into summer.

Come in to purchase your Woolstok Light or find it online here any time after April 4th, purchase the Leaf Wrap pattern for 59% off, and knit with us! Start any time after April 3 and finish by May 31. We’ll knit together on Wednesday afternoons starting April 12th from 3-5pm in the shop. The KAL is unfacilitated but we’ll have lots of fun making the wrap together. 

In this KAL, which is great for intermediate knitters, participants will knit this wrap by using a 16-row repeat lace leaf pattern, allowing for a customized length. As written, the Leaf Wrap uses six hanks of Woolstok Light, measuring at 16 x 81”. Customize your Leaf Wrap by making it shorter or longer based on your needs. Each hank of Woolstok Light adds 13½” of length to the finished measurements. You will also need U.S. 6 needles (20 inch or longer cord) and a finishing needle.

The Leaf Wrap is shown in color Earth Ivy, but remember leaves change colors, so be bold and try a different color. How about a different shade of green, Ember Glow, Rusted Roof, Red Rock or even our newly released Cranberry Compote.
