Featuring Lana’s signature lace-and-faux cables on an asymmetrical silhouette, Seawood is the ideal shawl project for high summer knitting and wearing! Made in our lightweight Weld, the lace-and-cable motif pops off the fabric in high relief. This shawl is made from end to end starting with 1 stitch and finishes with a sweet picot border.

The pattern is both written and charted. Find the written instructions for the stitch patterns in a separate file for download.

Finished Sizes
Size 1 (2); 61 (73)” / 155 (185.5) cm length, 25 (31)” / 51 (64) cm depth. Sample shown in Size 2.

Yarn
Hudson + West Co. Weld (70% U.S. Merino / 30% U.S. Corriedale; 200 yds / 83 m; 1.76 oz. / 50 g]): midnight (navy), 4 skeins.

Materials needed, not included:

Needles
Size A: (for shawl): US 6 (4 mm): 32” (80 cm) circular needle.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct
gauge.

Notions
Cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.

Gauge
18.25 sts and 25 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Body Stitch on Size A needles.
Gauge is not critical for this project but a change in gauge will result in different finished measurements and yarn requirement.
