Amano Volume 4

Amano’s Volume 4 Pattern Book was developed around a love for craft, nature and the gift of giving. As knitters, Amano is famed for being the most generous (most of what they do is for others) and Amano is based in the generosity of nature, and the coziness of curling up with a good book, cup of tea, and your latest knitting project. We have new yarn and beautiful new designers to see you through the winter months.

Set in a retro Andean home, this photoshoot was shot to encapsulate the home and hearth of Andean care and luxury. Think stylish Peruvian details, with a knitting journey that takes you through color, stitch work and a lot of charm.

Whether you are an accessory addict, sweater maker, or a luxury spender – this collection of 27 pattens will speak to you.

Sustainability lies at the core of Amano's Paco Marca project, an alpaca farm built out of the need for transparency and innovative new farming methods in the alpaca industry.  Eco Puna Black, Eco Puna and Apu are all sourced with care from this project.

Amano's approach to luxury fibres is upheld by their exclusive and ultra-high end Vicuna and Apu qualities – Imperial alpaca. These need no introduction. Patterns that can support this kind of fiber are delicate, expensive and have a beautiful hand feel, like the beautiful Apu necklace.

Discover new designers, who have been selected to reflect Amano's Peruvian-inspired design aesthetic. Knitting is something Amano lives and breathes, a glimpse caught over the mountains, a coolness in the Andean breeze and bountiful nature felt in every stitch.
