Avena Sweater Knit Along

$0.00

For our first Knit-A-Long of 2022, we invite you to create the stunning Avena Sweater by Jennifer Steingass with us. This knit is @knit.love.wool's newest design and it is simply beautiful.

We will start our KAL on Friday, January 7th at 3PM-5PM in the shop and meet every Friday through Mid February. As always, it is totally fine to start late if need be.

Come in this week or shop online to find your DK or light worsted choices of yarn, swatch it up, and join us on Fridays at 3PM.

Information about Avena from Jennifer Steingass on Ravelry:

"This circular yoke sweater takes a surprising twist with diagonal colorwork cascading down from the neckline. Enjoy simple, engaging, and meditative knitting as the branches swirl around the yoke as you work. I used 2 shades that are similar in both color and darkness, for a smooth transition through the colorwork. Your color choices can change the theme of this design entirely. I see pine boughs, feathers, golden grain swaying in the wind, or a sunlit meadow. DK or worsted weight yarn are suitable for this pattern. The yoke is beginner friendly with memorizable motifs and top down, seamless construction makes it easy to try on this sweater as you knit."
