Saturday, June 22nd, 3-5 PM.
Have you been awed by an amazing lace shawl and thought "I could never knit that." Yes, you can! Lace is all about making holes, increases, and decreases. We'll talk about these three things, and learn how to read lace patterns and charts.
We will also talk about choosing yarn for lace patterns and look at a few lace samples. We'll be knitting Renya by Noora Blacklund.
You will need 1 wound skein of Malabrigo Sock (or other fingering weight yarn) and a size US 4 knitting needle. This lace pattern is great for variegated colorways.
Prerequisite: You need to be comfortable knitting and purling.
The pattern is free and can be downloaded here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/reyna
We request that yarn be purchased at Maker+Stitch.
Maker+Stitch will refund your payment if we have fewer than three registered for the class. You will not receive a refund if you must cancel after registering.
Class will be held at Maker+Stitch, 56 Edwards Village Blvd. Unit 109, Edwards, CO.
