Crochet+Coffee Klatch With Char - Fall 2023

Wednesdays from 1 - 3 PM starting October 4th. Sign up for 10 sessions for $150, or session by session for $35 each.

The term “coffee klatch” refers to a group of friends getting together over a cup of coffee, usually at someone's house. It originated from the German word, “kaffeeklatsch,” which translates to coffee (kaffee) + gossip (klatsch). 

At Maker+Stitch we've added crocheting to this wonderful tradition. For beginner beginners we'll be starting with the basic stitches to make a washcloth (not with granny suqares) and then move on from there at your pace with Char's direction and assistance to granny squares that we can put together for numerous garments, a bag, or home decor. 

Whether you’re looking for a healing hobby, a creative escape, or a new skill to complement your love of knitting, Char’s knowledgeable and friendly teaching style will help you feel welcome in the world of crochet. By the end, you’ll have a mastered the basics of crocheting and you will have a new appreciation for what you can create with your own two hands!
