Knitting 101: Learn to Knit a Cowl


Two-Part Class, two consecutive weeks.

Whether you are brand-new to knitting or just need to refresh your knitting skills this class you will introduce you to the foundations that you need to start knitting your own beautiful slow-fashion accessories.

This class will teach you how to cast-on, how to master the knit stitches, how to bind-off, how to seam, weave in your ends and how to block your cowl to give it a fresh and polished finished look.

Before you know it, your knitting skills will greatly improve and expand, and you'll be able to incorporate new knitting stitches and techniques into a greater variety of patterns and designs.

Please purchase your yarn, not included, at Maker+Stitch. Materials needed for the class are:

200 yards of bulky weight yarn
US 10.5 straight or circular needle
Darning Needle

This class will take place at Maker+Stitch and is limited to five participants.
