Inspired by the iconic hunting shoe made in Maine, these Quince & Co knit duck booties will keep your little one’s toes warm and cozy for all your adventures to come. This kit includes yarn for the baby size of these sweet booties.

Kit includes:

• Quince & Co Chickadee and Finch yarn, enough to make one pair of booties (baby version, which calls for three 25 gram mini skeins)
• Print pattern
• A sweet printed project bag to store your WIP

Baby version: 3¼ (4)" [8.5 (10) cm] long and 2¾" [7 cm] tall / to fit size 0-6 (6-12) months, shown in size 0-6 months / Toddler version: 4 (5)" [10 (12.5) cm] long and 3¼" [8.5 cm] tall / to fit size 18 (24) months

Baby version (included in kit): chickadee: 1 skein each: egret 101 and gingerbread 120. finch: 1 skein apricot 137

Needles:

Baby version: set dpns in size US 3 [3.25 mm] 

Gauge:

Baby version: 28 sts and 44 rows = 4" [10 cm] in reverse stockinette stitch with Finch and smaller needles, after blocking 

Skills Required:

Long-tail and backward loop cast ons, seaming (links provided); increasing, decreasing, short rows.
