We love snuggly, soothing garter stitch in a shawl. Craghill by Cheryl Toy is a squishy, lightweight shawl for year round wear. The shawl is constructed from the top down from the center back and features eyelets, garter stripes, and tile-like motif on the main body.

Yarn:   Hudson + West Co. Weld (70% US Merino / 30% US Corriedale; 200 yds [183 m]; 1.76 oz. [50g]): MC charcoal (natural black), 3 skeins; CC1 aspen (natural white), 2 skeins; CC2 gold leaf (green-yellow), 2 skeins.

Sizes:
One size: 74” [188 cm] wide, 33” [84 cm] deep.

Needles: 
Size A (shawl body): US 4 [3.5 mm]: 40” [101 cm] circ needle.
Size B (bind off only): US 5 [3.75 mm]: one 6” [15 cm] double-pointed needle (dpn), or circ or straight needle of any length.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge: 
20 sts and 40 rows = 4” [10 cm] over St st on Size A needle.
20 sts and 44 rows = 4” [10 cm] over colorwork on Size A needle.
