Hudson + West Forge
Forge is the worsted weight yarn by Hudson + West. It is a delicious blend of 70% American Merino and 30% American Corriedale fleece.
Forge's 3-ply blend of Merino and Corriedale gives this yarn the best of both worlds: the great softness, loft, and next-to-skin wearability of the Merino; and the natural color, great strength, and durability of Corriedale, for heirloom-quality FOs.
Forge is spun in what’s known as a semi-worsted system, which combines some of the airy, delicate bloom of a woolen-spun yarn with the strength, structure, and stitch definition of a worsted yarn, and lets the best natural qualities of both breeds shine through.
