Welcome to our Summer 2026 Hiking and Knitting Retreat with Mary Jane Mucklestone!

Join us high in the Colorado Rockies for an unforgettable mountain adventure blending creativity, community, and nature.

In this unique retreat, you’ll learn the art of Fair Isle Colorwork Knitting from expert designer and teacher Mary Jane Mucklestone (aka MJ), all while surrounded by the stunning alpine beauty of the Shrine Mountain Huts—part of the renowned 10th Mountain Division Hut System.

Over two nights and three days, we’ll hike through wildflower-filled meadows, take in sweeping mountain views, and relax in our cozy hut nestled among Colorado’s pristine high-altitude forests. Each day offers the perfect balance of outdoor exploration and focused knitting time with MJ. Whether you’re a seasoned fair isle knitter or eager to learn new techniques, you’ll come away refreshed, inspired, and connected.

All cancellations must be received by May 1, 2026 for a full refund, except a $175 non-refundable deposit. All cancellations must be received in writing via email. No refunds for cancellations will be issued after May 1, 2026. If you cannot attend, you may send a substitute in your place at no extra charge. Substitution requests must be received before June 15, 2026.
