Alina’s love of knitting and pattern creation shines from every word. We’re so excited to have this new book for sale in the shop.
Alina Schneider is the woman behind The Gift of Knitting – a creator of beautiful, modern, texture-rich knitwear. The Gift of Knitting is her web home, where she shares her journey, her patterns, and knitting tutorials. She also has a beautiful Instagram presence at Gift of Knitting.
In her first book, Alina takes us through 15 new stitches while we create 15 cozy pieces to wear or give – from a simple scarf, to a scrumptious blanket, to a summer top. Each pattern progresses you from making the simple knit and purl stitches to using each of these stitches in new and exciting ways to create rich, dynamic textures.
We are so pleased to be offering year-long knit-along starting in April for beginners and near beginners to take your knitting to the next level. The knit-along will meet once a month. Add One Stitch Knitting will guide our work but we’ll be here to supplement Alina’s lessons and answer questions, too. We will begin each meeting choosing yarn and needles, then we’ll create together for 2 hours.
